Our mother, our first field and home of our winery. The vineyard is planted with 377 hectares of vines, which are drip-irrigated with water from deep wells. At full production, yields of some 11 tonnes per hectare are to be expected. The vines are trained along a VSP system.
The property is in Coastal Maipo, 140 km south-west of Santiago and 50 km from the Pacific Ocean, which brings a maritime influence to the area.

There is a prolonged dry season with a coastal influence. Winter temperatures average a minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 15°C. In summer, the average minimum temperature is 12°C and the maximum 29°C.
Alluvial in formation, the soil is loamy clay on the slopes and sandy loam in the flat areas.
The average annual rainfall is 500mm, which mainly falls between May and September.
